İKADDER Holds Closing Meeting for the “Voice of Justice” Project

İKADDER successfully held the closing meeting of the “Voice of Justice: International Rights-Based Advocacy Programme for Young People” project. The event provided an opportunity to reflect on the activities carried out throughout the project, share participants’ experiences and achievements, and discuss İKADDER’s ongoing and future efforts in the field of youth and civil society.

The opening speech was delivered by İKADDER Chairperson of the Board, Ms. Neyir Akbulut, who shared information about the organisation’s key activities and achievements throughout 2026, as well as its goals and priorities for the coming period. In her remarks, Ms. Akbulut highlighted İKADDER’s commitment to developing meaningful, sustainable and high-quality projects that contribute to young people and society.

Following the opening session, İKADDER Vice Chairperson of the Board, Ms. Havva Nur Demir, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the projects currently being implemented by the organisation. The presentation provided an overview of İKADDER’s activities across different areas, ongoing project processes and plans for future initiatives.

Emphasising Institutional Memory and Sustainability

One of the highlights of the closing meeting was the opportunity to reflect on İKADDER’s institutional experience and the knowledge accumulated throughout its history.

İKADDER Founding Chairperson, Dr. Gülsen Ataseven, joined the programme and shared her extensive experience, knowledge and valuable insights with the participants. Her contribution highlighted the importance of continuity, institutional knowledge and experience in strengthening the long-term impact of civil society initiatives.

Former Chairperson, Ms. Funda Ozan Akyol, also addressed the participants, sharing her reflections on İKADDER’s journey and its future direction. Her speech provided an important opportunity to connect the organisation’s past experiences with its future goals and priorities.

Young Participants Shared Their Experiences

One of the most inspiring parts of the programme was the participation of young people involved in the “Voice of Justice” project, who took the stage to share their experiences and the work they carried out in the field.

The participants shared the knowledge and skills they gained throughout the project, their experiences in rights-based advocacy, the achievements they accomplished and their personal success stories. Their contributions demonstrated once again the value of empowering young people to actively participate in advocacy and civil society initiatives.
