ISTANBUL WOMEN AND WOMEN'S ORGANIZATIONS ASSOCIATION (İKADDER) CONTINUES OPERATIONS AT ITS NEW ADDRESS

The Istanbul Women and Women's Organizations Association (İKADDER) celebrated the inauguration of its newly relocated headquarters on Monday, April 13, under the leadership of its honorary founder and president, Dr. Gülsen Ataseven. Saime Yıldırım, wife of Ümraniye Mayor İsmet Yıldırım, also attended the event.

At the well-attended ceremony, association president Neyir Akbulut introduced the new board of directors — which took office in April 2025 — to the guests. President Akbulut shared the association's activities and plans aimed at elevating the status of women and the family, as well as strengthening the institutional capacity of voluntary women's organizations, dating back to the association's founding.

She also extended her gratitude and appreciation to Funda Ozan Akyol — who served as president of the association for many years in previous terms and currently sits on the supervisory board — for her contributions to date.
