VOICE OF JUSTICE: INTERNATIONAL RIGHTS-BASED ADVOCACY PROGRAM FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
The Voice of Justice: International Rights-Based Advocacy Program for Young People was launched between August 20 and September 15, 2025, as a result of applications received, and brings together young people who are interested in human rights and humanitarian law, have volunteer experience, and want to have a voice on social issues and civil society.
The project is based on the necessity of managing the increasing conflicts and crises of recent years not only at the physical level, but also at the level of information, discourse, and policy. International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Documents stipulate the protection of civilians and the guarantee of access to fundamental rights in crisis zones.
The aim of the project is to develop the knowledge and skills of young individuals aged 18-35 living in Türkiye and interested in the civic field, at national and international levels, in rights-based advocacy. This will enable them to gain awareness of human rights violations in crisis regions, to identify and document these violations, and ultimately to reach a level of competence that allows them to offer policy recommendations. The project specifically focuses on violations occurring in regions experiencing multifaceted humanitarian crises in recent years, such as Gaza, Yemen, and East Turkestan, encouraging young people to develop analysis and advocacy in these areas from a rights-based perspective.
