"Youth Project in International Decision-Making Mechanisms" has been awarded a grant under the T.R. Ministry of Youth and Sports Youth Projects Support Programme/GPDP 2018/II.

The project will be carried out between January 1, 2019 and November 1, 2019.

Purpose of the Project;

Even if a youth NGO is very powerful at the national level, it cannot exert any influence on the structures that make decisions, formulate policies, and disseminate them worldwide. In this context, there is a need for pioneering work that will pave the way for NGOs to recognize international mechanisms, become accredited, influence them, and ultimately become a force capable of setting the agenda of international mechanisms.

Through this project, İKADDER aims to enable young people and organizations working in the field of youth to carry out effective work on the international stage by:

Recognizing the structures and working methods of international decision-making mechanisms in the field of youth, and providing a platform for developing connections and implementing practices,

Creating a database through which Youth Policy Documents, international conventions, and similar materials can be accessed collectively.

Objectives of the Project;

• Developing the capacity of young people to work together and collaboratively around a common purpose,
• Contributing to the increase of young people's self-confidence by supporting the establishment of structures where they can express themselves,
• Informing young people about the opportunities and services available to them, and contributing to their acquisition of the necessary participation and leadership capacity.
